Polyurethane Coating

Reflective Topcoat Systems

Our Application Process
Substrate Evaluation and Candidacy Assessment
We evaluate the existing roofing surface for structural integrity, moisture content, adhesion compatibility, and overall condition to confirm it qualifies for coating and to identify any conditions that require correction before application.
Surface Cleaning and Preparation
The entire roof surface is pressure-washed to remove all contaminants that would prevent coating adhesion. Oxidation on metal surfaces is mechanically abraded. The surface must be completely clean and dry before primer is applied.
Repairs and Detail Work
All seams, cracks, penetrations, flashings, and areas of concern identified during assessment are repaired using compatible materials before the coating is applied. Coating over unrepaired failures does not solve underlying problems.
Primer Application
Where required by the coating manufacturer, a compatible primer is applied at the specified rate and allowed to cure before coating application begins. Primer selection is determined by both the substrate type and the coating system being used.
Multi-Coat System Application
The coating is applied in multiple coats at the manufacturer-specified coverage rate to achieve the required dry film thickness. We verify coverage rates during application using wet film gauges to ensure warranty compliance on every project.
Final Verification and Documentation
The completed coating is inspected for uniform coverage and consistent film thickness. All warranty documentation is prepared and manufacturer warranty registration is completed. A final project report with before and after documentation is provided to you.
